All users of our site have data protection rights as defined by the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you wish to be informed what personal information we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us.
To be displayed correctly our website (like most sites) needs to load some resources (e.g. style sheets or fonts) from external servers. Because this loading is performed by the user's web browser these external services will receive certain information from this request. This includes the user's IP address and the information that is transmitted by the web browser for any web request. It will not include any other information that a visitor may have provided on our website. The amount of data provided by a browser can be reduced by changing the browser's privacy settings, visiting a website with a "private window" of the browser, or by installing additional privacy plugins in the browser.
Even if only few data is transmitted with such requests we only use external services that also comply with the legal requirement of the GDPR. At the end of this privacy statement you can find links to the privacy statements of these providers.
Our contact form uses the reCAPTCHA service that is provided by Google to prevent abuse. For that purpose Google will collect some information from the visitor's web browser. If you want to avoid that you can contact us by email instead.
As is standard for all web servers our site uses log files that log the operation of the server, including the user's IP address and visits of the website pages. These informations are only stored temporarily for the diagnosing of errors and to ensure a safe operation or the server, including the protection of any stored data. The log files will not be associated with personal information and they will not be shared with external parties.
Like any other website our site uses 'cookies'. These are small data packets that are stored in the visitor's browser. They are used to store information like user preferences. This information is only used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and site usage. You can delete existing cookies at any time from your browser's settings or even disable the storing of cookies completely.
